We have been commissioned, over the years, to create many hundreds of special bespoke items, one-offs as well as ongoing production run items. We have designed and then made, for discerning customers, a wide range of specialty custom-made and custom-designed articles that were specifically intended to satisfy their precise needs and requirements for high quality tailored leather goods at an affordable price.

What is involved in Bespoke One-Off Leatherwork?

Whilst we never like to lose customers from the outset, it is important for us to make it clear that Bespoke Leatherwork may not be for everyone. We strongly advise you to consider that the cost of creating bespoke ‘One-Off’ leatherwork is always considerably higher than purchasing standard ‘Off-the-peg’ items. Therefore to save you valuable time we wish to give you a quick guide as to what may be involved in commissioning a bespoke leather item from us:

When our customer’s commission bespoke One-Offs, or even ongoing production run items, they are always made to the most exacting standards, we cannot offer anything less. These pieces of work are completely made by hand and when stitching is required they are professionally and individually Hand Stitched; we also use only the very best quality leather and materials available.

To make sure that bespoke items fit exactly as they should the goods that they are intended for, we often need to create a prototype for that item beforehand so that we can perfect the design before the actual commissioned work is finally made. This usually involves the customer posting their items to us before the work begins.

One-Offs

Since a lot of care and attention is given to these specially commissioned, bespoke One-Off items the cost involved in making them may not be to everyone’s liking. Since bespoke items may involve many hours of hard work before they are finally finished, to your required standards, quotes for such work start at £55 and up.

 Production Runs

PLEASE NOTE: it is important to state that once the initial production and design costs have been made, all subsequent items made to the same specifications will only involve the construction and material costs need to make them, which means that the costs to make subsequent item is considerably reduced. It is also worth considering that customers who require many items to be made to the same spec and on an ongoing basis usually have the initial designs and prototypes included for Free.
