Our handmade Leather Hudson Bay Tinderbox  Pouches were originally designed for the  Hudson Bay Tinderboxes, with the base of the pouch being curved to the same dimensions as the Hudson Bay Tinderbox itself. They are hand cross stitched, wet moulded, hand dyed and hand buffed. The Cross stitch detail gives it a slightly rustic, folksy look.

Each of these high quality Hudson Bay Tinderbox ‘Possibles’ Pouches is carefully made from best quality vegetable tanned 3.5mm (+/-) thick, soft, supple leather.  The leather used in these pouch will protect a Hudson Bay Tinderbox from scratching and other damage that so easily befalls valuable items of this nature, allowing it to be safely secured to a belt. A strong full-belt-loop attached to the rear of the pouch so that it can be fitted to any belt that is up to 1-3/4 Inches wide. The approximate dimensions of each Pouch 100mm (4 inches) wide by 80mm (3 inches) across by 35mm (1-1/4 inch) deep, and weighs just under 130 grams.

Whilst the Hudson Bay Tinderbox ‘Possibles’ Pouch was originally designed to house a Hudson Bay Tinderbox, the Pouch itself can also be used on its own. It will suit a small tinderkit, first aid kit, keys or money.
