Photo shows two Cross Stitched versions of the Solar Pendants with Brass 'D' Rings, the left is in Hazelnut Brown , the right one is in Walnut Brown and shown with a Quick Release Belt Loop with Bridal Hook. The far right Wallet Solar Pendant is in Hazelnut Brown with Brass 'D' Ring and shown with a Sam Browne  closure stud. Please Note : The two Solar Pendants with Brass 'D' Rings, photo left and middle, as well as the Quick Release Belt Loop with Bridal Hook are not included in this sale.

This beautiful Hand-Stitched Solar Ignition pendant makes a lovely alternative to using a traditional Flint & Steel, however, please note you do need some sun!!! Using the built-in 'burning' lens in the Leather Mount,  focus the sun's rays onto a piece of Tinder such as Char Cloth or Amadou until it starts to smoulder, then place into your Tinder Bundle.  Ideal to use with Tinder such as  Char Cloth, Amadou, Chaga, Moxa, Paper. This particular style of Pendant has been made with a solid Brass 'D' Ring which can be attached to a Belt Loop or Key Ring.

Fastening Options

There is a choice of either a Sam Browne Stud closure or Press Stud fastenings available for the Wallet Solar Pendant. See Drop Down Menu.

The leather cover has been designed to protect the lens when not in use and is secured by a single Sam Browne stud. The inside of the case has an small leather disc built into the cover to protect for the lens from the Sam Browne or Press Stud fastening.
