We have created these newly styled leather pendants from the very best British leather we can lay our hands on. We've left the leather as nature intended, pure and simple and have let the leather speak for itself. Over time the leather will darken naturally from exposure to the sun and from the natural oils in your hand. Even the lace we have used has been kept natural. Solar pendants are ideal for using with the power of the sun to create fire in just a few seconds. In fact these Solar pendants do not have to be used solely for Fire Lighting but can also be used for Tracking due to the high spec lens. The Brass 'D' Ring enables you to add it to a key ring, lanyard or add to a belt loop if you wish.

This beautiful Solar Ignition pendant makes a lovely alternative to using a traditional Flint & Steel, however, please note you do need some sun!!! Using the built-in 'burning' lens in the Leather Mount,  focus the sun's rays onto a piece of Tinder such as Char Cloth or Amadou until it starts to smoulder, then place into your Tinder Bundle.  Ideal to use with Tinder such as  Char Cloth, Amadou, Chaga, Moxa, Paper etc.
