This traditional styled Fire Steel has been beautifully engineered at Beaver Bushcraft. Based on a traditional old Scottish Fire Steel. Used with Amadou tinder fungus or Char Cloth, the sparks created from this top quality steel striker will easily form an ember that can be used to ignite a tinder bundle.  Its an ideal size for keeping in a Tinderbox or popping into a Tinder Pouch.  

Our Fire Steels have been specially designed to spark efficiently when using the correct striking technique, and that optimal spark generation can only really be achieved when using a new super sharp piece of flint, as well as some good quality, and dry tinder, such as Char Cloth, Amadou or Chaga.
