Based on a classic 'C' shape this traditional  steel striker has been one of our most popular styles as it's ideal for beginners. It has a broad belly making it easy to hold whilst striking with flint.  It also has the perfect striking edge too.   

Our Fire Steels have been specially designed to spark efficiently when using the correct striking technique, and that optimal spark generation can only really be achieved when using a new super sharp piece of flint, as well as some good quality, and dry tinder, such as Char Cloth, Amadou or Chaga.
