Based on our popular Thor Hammer designs but with a less noticeable hump. Thor was the hammer-wielding God who was associated with thunder, lightning, storms, oak trees, strength, the protection of mankind and also hallowing and fertility!! Thor is one of the most prominent figures in Norse mythology and we sure had some fun designing this traditional Flint & Steel fire striker/pendant based on our love of Norse legends.  

This traditional styled Fire Steel has been based on a Viking design but we have made it in such a way to have the perfect striking edge and can also be worn as a Pendant. It is rather large so we would only really recommend  keeping it in a larger Leather Pouch. It can also can be worn around the neck and still be totally functional as a traditional flint and steel striker but be warned this is not for the faint hearted. 

This traditional styled Viking Fire Steel Striker is used for traditional ‘Flint & Steel’ fire making. Used with Amadou tinder fungus or Char Cloth, the sparks created from this top quality steel striker will easily form an ember that can be used to ignite a tinder bundle.
