Hand crafted Beaver Bushcraft  mini 'Snuff Box' Tobacco Tinderbox with it's own unique custom made leather pocket sized Pouch, made by Beaver Bushcraft. 

Once in a while we like to create something that is a little bit special. We have recently been collecting old Fire Steels, Tins and Tinderboxes for a new range of limited edition Fire Lighting Kits.  Perfect for re-enactors, bushcrafters, collectors or someone who wants something a little bit unique and maybe a possible heirloom for future generations.  

All the items added fit snuggly into this mini tin and the custom made leather pouch keeps this mini tinderbox safe and protected.  Together they make a little bit of history come back to life.  Although this is mini sized set, it is still designed to be used. The more you use it, the more loved it will look. Suitable for all Bushcrafters, budding Pioneers, re-enactors, LARPs enthusiasts, Cosplayers & anyone who loves making fire the traditional way.  However we do recommend that you need a modicum of experience with traditional Flint and steel fire lighting in order to get the right technique due to the smaller sized fire steel.  

The 'Mini Snuff' Tinder Box

The tinderbox ‘snuff box’ measures approx.: 55mm x 38mm x 14mm. Hinged lid and secure fastening. Polished metal. Each kit comes with a beautifully styled Viking mini fire steel with Tinders & Flint.  We at Beaver Bushcraft are becoming more and well known for our old school style of leather work and retro equipment. We like to think of our work as timeless and that it captures that old pioneering spirit.  

The Leather Pouch 

Each of our 'mini snuff' tinderboxes has had a custom made leather pouch made for it. This pouch has been hand cut to size, hand stitched and hand dyed and has been given a leather thong fastening with hand knotted detail. To loosen the loop around the leather button. just slide the wooden bead down or to secure the pouch, just slide the bead up and this will tighten the loop around the leather bead on the flap. The leather Pouch measures approx.75mm x 65mm and is made from a high quality veg tanned British leather. The pouch has been hand cut, hand stitched in our Kent workshop and then hand dyed in a dark saddle tan shade with a slight patina. A perfect gift for someone who wants something unique and definitely not from the High Street!
