This beautifully, funky designed Leather Neck Sheath has been exclusively made by Beaver Bushcraft and has been based on a very traditional Sami Pot design. The Sami people are well known for producing beautifully crafted items made locality sourced materials as bone, wood, reindeer antlers. They carved a variety of useful objects such as tools and utensils for every day life. The little Sami pots they made were worn around the neck for storing precious little items or herbs. As a seminomadic people, the reindeer-herding Sami travelled from camp to camp and their items had to be small and transportable. They were very clever at utilising all their local resources and nothing was wasted! 

Here at Beaver Bushcraft we are following a tradition but bringing it up to date with this funky design.  Hand stitched in either artificail sinew or dark tiger thread, the leather neck sheaths have been hand dyed to give a slight rustic look. A leather thong with a hand made leather tag has been attached to the solid Brass pot so that the contents will always be secure. To ease the Brass container out of the sheath, just loosen the bead at the bottom and to re tighten, just ease the bead back up along the thong. The Brass container is made from a high quality solid brass construction.

The stash pot will hold a small bunch of safety matches or pills or anything small that you need to carry around with you. It will even old a miniature sewing kit. We use ours for our painkillers for our aches & pains, especially when we are at a show. Please note no other items are included and any extra items seen in the photos are for display only.
