Flint is Dangerously Sharp!
It is strongly advised, when practicing your flint knapping to carefully consider the safety ramifications of this beautiful but somewhat dangerous art form. Shards of flint are renowned for being Razor Sharp once stuck from the flint core.
It is, therefore, just a sensible precaution that you protect yourself from these dangerously sharp cutting tools; after all, flint cutting tools, knapped straight from the flint core, have been used by our forefathers for millions of years for hunting and butchering animals – if they can easily butcher a Wooly Mammoth what damage do you think they are capable of when it comes to your own hide? A lovely endorsement from William Lord from Prehistoric Survival about Beaver Bushcraft .
