This traditional 2nd Century Spanish style fire steel striker is based on an  Iberic style. 

This style of Fire Steel is well balanced and the weight and shape makes it easy to use with just small amount of experience, making it an exceptional Fire Steel for beginners upwards. A good array of sparks is produced when using the right technique along with some super sharp flint and dry tinder.

PLEASE NOTE: No Flint or Tinder is included in this sale. Prototypes and Samples are unique pieces, made and finished to our usual quality standards that we use to develop our line of traditional fire steels. Sometimes we will only make 1 or 2 of each design and then tweak the design until we are happy with it. They are still fully functional working items and made to the same high standards that you have come to expect from Beaver Bushcraft & Leather, however, once they are gone, they are gone!!!
