This beautiful Hand Cross Stitched Solar Ignition pendant makes a lovely alternative to using a traditional Flint & Steel, however, please note you do need some sun!!! Using the built-in 'burning' lens in the Leather Mount, focus the sun's rays onto a piece of Tinder such as Char Cloth or Amadou until it starts to smoulder, then place into your Tinder Bundle. Ideal to use with Tinder such as Char Cloth, Amadou, Chaga, Moxa, Paper.

The leather cover has been designed to protect the lens when not in use and is secured by either a Sam Browne stud or a choice of Press Stud closures. The inside of the case has a small leather disc built into the cover which provides extra protection for the lens from the Sam Browne stud.
