This traditional styled steel Striker is used for traditional ‘Flint & Steel’ fire making. Used with Amadou tinder fungus or Char Cloth, the sparks created from this top quality steel striker will easily form an ember that can be used to ignite a tinder bundle. The balance, weight and shape of this style of Fire Steel make it an absolute doddle to use, giving off a high yield of sparks with no experience required. An exceptional Fire Steel at any level of experience. Experienced users should get sparks on each and every strike when used with a piece of sharp flint and some good quality dry Tinder. 

Our Fire Steels have been specially designed to spark efficiently when using the correct striking technique, and that optimal spark generation can only really be achieved when using a new super sharp piece of flint, as well as some good quality, and dry tinder, such as Char Cloth, Amadou or Chaga.
