Following on from a 2,000 year old fire making technology, we, Beaver Bushcraft, are proud to introduce our new range of traditional  styled ‘Flint & Steel' Strikers. These Strikers have been designed by us to be easy to hold and to create a good amount of sparks with ease. This particular Fire Steel is one of our largest and has been based on a traditional 'D' shaped Fire Steel. Many Fire steels throgh the ages have been based on certain letters of the alphabet such as a ‘B’, ‘C’, ‘D’, ‘R’ & ‘U’. This Fire Steel is tough enough to provide many, many years of service, even if used on a daily basis. 

Our Fire Steels have been specially designed to spark efficiently when using the correct striking technique, and that optimal spark generation can only really be achieved when using a new super sharp piece of flint, as well as some good quality, and dry tinder, such as Char Cloth, Amadou or Chaga.
