This beautifully hand saddle stitched leather Neck Sheath started out as a custom piece made for Helen at Beaver Bushcraft and was so admired at the shows that we attend, Mark decided to make a batch of them for the website. Hand Stitched by Mark from Shark Designs and made exclusivley for Beaver Bushcraft.

Going back as far as the Middle Ages, Fire Steels were sometimes worn around the neck for safe keeping. Back then Fire Steels were considered to be an item of importance. In the 17th century fire steels became even more elaborate in design on were often worn on a chatelaine with other items. Here at Beaver Bushcraft we are following a tradition but bringing it up to date.
