This style of Fire Steel has been based on a very traditional design. Throughout the years Fires Steels have sometimes been based on letters of the alphabet, B, C, D, & P shapes are quite common and as time went on extra curls, twists were added into the designs. This particular Fire Steel, although quite small, is ideal for Tinderboxes and Tinder pouches. Due to its slightly more intricate design we do recommend that you need a little bit of experience of using Flint and Steel hence it has been given a 3 out of 5 ease of use rating.
