This traditional styled Fire Steel has been based a Viking Tear Drop design but we have made it in such a way to have the perfect striking edge and can also be worn as a Pendant. Small enough to fit in a Tinderbox or Tinder Pouch but also can be worn around the neck and still be totally functional as a traditional flint and steel striker. 

This traditional styled Viking Teardrop steel Striker is used for traditional ‘Flint & Steel’ fire making. Used with Amadou tinder fungus or Char Cloth, the sparks created from this top quality steel striker will easily form an ember that can be used to ignite a tinder bundle.
