4 500-4-Fire Steel Angle for the strike These extremely well made Fire Steels were made for us by the much-valued blacksmith Andrew Kirkham who specialises in historical replicas. his hand-forged traditional styled 'Oval ' steel striker is used for traditional ‘Flint & Steel’ fire making. This Oval Fire Steel is based on the original steel strikers as used by the Hudson Bay Trading Company. Use with Amadou tinder fungus or Char Cloth, the sparks created from this top quality steel striker will easily form an ember that can be used to ignite a tinder bundle. Perfect for adding to a traditional Hudson Bay Tinderbox. These beautifully made Fire Steels are very easy to use and create a good quality spark when used with a good quality piece of sharp flint. Ideal for beginers to the more experienced fire starter.
