A bit about the Noth Star
Polaris is a star in the northern circumpolar constellation of Ursa Minor. Commonly known as the North Star or Pole Star.
With an apparent magnitude that varies around 1.98, it is the brightest of all the stars in the constellation and can easily be spotted by the naked eye at night. The position of the star lies less than1* away from the north celestial pole making it the current northern Pole star. Due to the stable position of the start in the northern sky has made it an extremely valuable tool for navigation since man rode the waves and travelled by sea.
One day we hope to make the same fire steel striker but showing that of the Southern Cross. So watch this space…..
