This traditional styled Fire Steel has been based on a Celtic Cross design but we have made it in such a way to have the perfect striking edge and can also be worn as a Pendant. Small enough to fit in a Tinderbox or Tinder Pouch but also can be worn around the neck and still be totally functional as a traditional flint and steel striker. 

Our Fire Steels have been specially designed to spark efficiently when using the correct striking technique, and that optimal spark generation can only really be achieved when using a new super sharp piece of flint, as well as some good quality, and dry tinder, such as Char Cloth, Amadou or Chaga.
