Vintage old timers tinderbox packed by beaver bushcraftOnce in a while we like to create something that’s a little bit different, something with a bit of character.  We  managed to get hold of some very old, vintage, Tobacco Tins. By putting some traditional styled items and adding some tinder, low and behold, you have an unique Tinderbox as you would have had many years ago. Its all about recapturing some thing from the past and having something special that has character and a patina all of its own. We wanted this Old Timer's Tinderbox to feel as if it had belonged to you for years and that it has been loved and used.

Vinatge old retro tinderbox with candle by beaver bushcraftThe collection comes with a traditional Fire Steel by Beaver Bushcraft made from high carbon. The Tinder kit has been carefully selected to recapture the era but also to be practical. The contents include 2 pices of Norfolk Flint, Amadou Piece, jute nest for tinder bundles,5 x hand cut Sulphur Spills, Char Cloth in a Tin and an old style tea light candle. Although this is an old tin turned into a Tinderbox, it is still designed to be used. The more you use it, the more loved it will look. Suitable for all Bushcrafters, budding Pioneers, re-enactors, LARPs enthusiasts & anyone who loves making fire the traditional way. Please note that the Tobacco Tin is a pre loved item and will have aged patina and markings on it. The Tin is as seen in the photos and is not touched up in any way.
