These beautifully, funky designed, hand-crafted leather Stash Pots have been exclusively made by Beaver Bushcraft and have been based on a traditional Sami Pot design. The design looks quite simple and easy to make, however trust when we say they are harder to make then they look! Alot of work goes into these little leather Stash Pots. 

These Stash Pots have been hand cross stitched in a dark contrasting tiger thread, the leather has then been hand dyed to give a slight rustic aged look. A leather thong has been threaded through the lid to secure it to the base to keep your contents safe. The stash pot will hold a small bunch of safety matches, pills, herbs or even a small sewing kit as seen in the photos for demonstration. Please note no other items are included in with this item and any extra items seen in the photos are for display and suggestions only.

The Sami people are well known for producing beautifully crafted items made locality sourced materials as bone, wood, reindeer antlers. They carved a variety of useful objects such as tools and utensils for every day life. The little Sami pots they made were worn around the neck for storing precious little items or herbs. As a seminomadic people, the reindeer-herding Sami travelled from camp to camp and their items had to be small and transportable. They were very clever at utilising all their local resources and nothing was wasted!  Here at Beaver Bushcraft we are trying to keep the traditional designs alive of old school, hand-crafted leather items which have been made using traditional methods but bringing them more up to date with our funky details and designs.
