An elegant old school design based on the classic 'C' striker, easy to hold and will spark  beautifully when used with a piece of super spark English flint. This traditional styled 'C ' fire steel striker is used for traditional ‘Flint & Steel’ fire lighting and can be used with Char Cloth or even Amadou or Chaga tinder fungus. The sparks created from this striker will easily form an ember that can be used to ignite a tinder bundle or a traditional Sulphur Match. Designed by us at Beaver Bushcraft, this traditional ‘C’ steel striker is one of our most popular Traditional 'Flint & Steel' Fire Steels ever. It is ideal for beginners to the most ardent Bushcraft professionals as it's extremely easy to use and very robust. The Classic ‘C’ fire steel Striker has been around since the 2^nd century and is one of the most common shapes for using in traditional ‘Flint & Steel’ Fire lighting. Sometimes known as a ‘three fingered striker’.

Our Fire Steels have been specially designed to spark efficiently when using the correct striking technique, and that optimal spark generation can only really be achieved when using a new super sharp piece of flint, as well as some good quality, and dry tinder, such as Char Cloth, Amadou or Chaga.
