Hand-crafted in the UK by Beaver Bushcraft, the 801 belt is one of our best selling products to date. This belt was first introduced back in 2004.  This leather belt truly bridges the gap between utility and outdoor clothing. Made slightly longer than you average belt and is truly made for the great outdoors. Built for strength and durability.

The design for the Outdoors Bushcraft Belt – ‘801’ was inspired by the Equine – 'Shire Horse' Harness Straps. Harness straps that are an integral part of all tack that needs to be very strong and very durable to withstand the massive stresses and strains that are placed upon them by huge Shire horses as big as 17-hands that can pull fully loaded carts. We took the basic principles of these harnesses and incorporated them into a superior quality belt especially suited for those who enjoy the great outdoors. Due to popularity we do have a waiting list for these Belts. Our '801' Outdoors Bushcraft Belt has been especially designed to bridge the gap between work wear and outdoor clothing and stylish, comfortable, classic casual wear clothing, yet be strong enough for either.  The  '801' Bushcraft Belt is slighlty longer than your average 'off the peg' Belt as it has 11 holes rather than the standard 5 holes. This allows the wearer a lot of extra versatility as the Belt can be worn over an outdoor style Jacket but will still look good when worn with trousers. To date it is our most popular design and has become a classic Bushcraft 'outdoor' Belt. 

We use only the very best grade English Bridle Butt  3.5mm (+/-) thick vegetable tanned leather, when making our Belts. This type of leather is so strong that the belt can even be used to tie things together in an emergency whilst out in the woods as well as hold your trousers up and carry pouches and other belt attachments. Added to this, the inner surface of the belt can be used, in an emergency, as a Razor Strop to hone your knife since it is very soft, supple and smooth … as long as you have a piece of string to hold your trousers up with that is! Each Belt also comes complete with two sturdy hand stitched leather Belt Keeps; one Keep is fixed at the buckle whilst the other is free running enabling you to secure that loose end of the belt in place.

When all is said and done, when you combine the quality of our leather with the quality of the buckle we use to the quality of the thread that is use to traditionally Saddle Stitch the belt, it is not surprising that we offer a lifetime guarantee on workmanship.
