Our beautiful handcrafted solar pendants have become quite synonymous with Beaver Bushcraft over the years and have become one of our all-time classic pieces. These beautiful Solar Ignition pendants make a lovely alternative to using a traditional Flint & Steel, however, please note you do need some sun!!!

Using the built-in 'burning' lens in the leather mount, just focus the sun's rays onto a piece of Tinder such as Char Cloth or Amadou, Moxa etc until the tinder starts to smoulder, then place into your Tinder Bundle. And you are good to go! These solar pendants are ideal to use with Tinder such as Char Cloth, Amadou, Chaga, Moxa, Paper. Our leather solar pendants make a lovely gilt for someone who loves old school bushcraft or enjoys retro looking leather items.
