The Double Sided Pocket Strop is a solid Beech wood base that has the finest quality, soft, supple Nubuck leather on one side of the strop. This 70 gram tube of high quality Honing Paste has been specially formulated to gently remove burrs and polish the cutting edges of knives, chisels, axes or plane irons, or in fact any tool that requires a razor sharp cutting edge.  You can even use a little of the honing paste, applied to your finger, to gently rub away any small rust spots that may appear on the sides of your cutting tools, and also gently remove the stains that are formed when cutting into certain high tannin woods, such as Sweet Chestnut. Please note that no knives etc are included with this purchase.
