Teardrop Pendant Striker with Sword (85-1988-01)
These beautifully mini traditional styled Fire Steels has been based on some of our more popular designs. These particular ones are samples, fully working designs & we just wanted to see what they looked liked before making a huge batch of them. Although they are small believe it or not they really do work!!!! We do recommend however that you do need to have some experience at flint & steel fire lighting due to the small size. Small enough to fit in a Tinderbox or Tinder Pouch but really it has been designed to be worn as a Pendant. We initially designed them as a bit of fun for the Shows and Events that we do but we didn't relaise just how popular they were.
These Teardrop Steel Strikers are used for traditional ‘Flint & Steel’ fire making. Used with Amadou tinder fungus or Char Cloth, the sparks created from this top quality steel striker will easily form an ember that can be used to ignite a tinder bundle.
Please note no Flint or Tinders are included in this listing, these can be purchased separately from our drop down menus. Or you can add one of our Starter Tinder Pouch Kits which contains some Flint & tinder samples to start you on your Flint & Steel journey. To view our full range of tinders we have please clickhere.
