This beautifully made traditional Viking Bow Design style Fire Steel has been based a well known Viking design but we have made it in such a way to have the perfect striking edge. 

We do suggest that you need to have a little bit of experience at using Flint & Steel due to it's small size. However if you use the correct technique, some super sharp piece of English flint and some good quality tinder such as Amadou, you are good to go! .

This  traditional styled Viking Bow Steel Fire Striker is used for traditional ‘Flint & Steel’ fire making. Our Fire Steels have been specially designed to spark efficiently when using the correct striking technique, and that optimal spark generation can only really be achieved when using a new super sharp piece of flint, as well as some good quality, and dry tinder, such as Char Cloth, Amadou or Chaga.
