Made from spilt veg tanned leather that’s been oiled to keep the leather soft and supple but also to act as a barrier to the damp ground.

The Mat is designed to be the perfect accessory for your Fire Lighting needs. This simple leather tinder prepping Mat prevents your Tinders from getting lost in the undergrowth and mixed up with leaves etc. The idea is to keep your Tinders off damp ground & wet grass, woodland floors etc. Or just place it on your lap and prepare your fire lighting gear.  Once finished just roll up and stuff into your pouch or rucksack.
