These extremely well made mini Fire Steels are based on the original steel strikers as used by the Hudson Bay Trading Company. Use with Amadou tinder fungus or Char Cloth, the sparks created from this top quality steel striker will easily form an ember that can be used to ignite a tinder bundle. Perfect for adding to a traditional Hudson Bay Tinderbox. These beautifully made Fire Steels are very easy to use and create a good quality spark when used with a good quality piece of sharp flint. Ideal for beginers to the more experienced fire starter. Ideal for adding into a Tinderbox, Survival Kit, Fire lighting Pouch. Although this Fire Steel can be used by beginners, we do advise some experience of using a Flint & Steel striker due to its’ smaller size.
