These mini pocket sized Tinderboxes have been exclusively designed and made by us in the UK. The mini sized Fire Steels have been based on our larger Fatasy Fire Steel designs. The added bonus is that each one can be worn as a Pendant Fire steel too. We at Beaver Bushcraft are becoming more and more well known for our funky designs and our love of 'old school'. 

These mini fire steels are made to be used, (see video below,) small but mighting! They look good but are practical too. The Tinderbox contains 1 x piece of Norfolk Flint with hand knapped edges, a Fire steel of your choice, an Amadou piece and some Jute Nest for your Tinder bundle. All designed to fit into your pocket and be part of your Bushcraft journey. Each Fire Steel measures approx: 50mm x 20mm x 3.5mm but each style will vary due to it's design.

The mini Fire Steel do produce a good array of sparks but due to their size they are a bit fiddley to use. We do recommend that you need a bit of experience in traditional 'flint & steel' fire lighting in order to use them. These mini sized tinderboxes are not recommended for children!!!!

Our Fire Steels have been specially designed to spark efficiently when using the correct striking technique, and that optimal spark generation can only really be achieved when using a new super sharp piece of flint, as well as some good quality, and dry tinder, such as Char Cloth, Amadou or Chaga.
