This style of Fire Steel is extremely easy to use and is ideal for a novice fire starter to the more advanced user of traditional fire steels. This style of fire steel has been designed to be well balanced and the weight & shape make it easy to use with just a modicum of old school ‘flint & steel’ experience.

These types of Fire steels have been specially designed to spark efficiently when using the correct striking technique. A good array of sparks can be created when using a super sharp piece of flint and some dry tinder such as Char Cloth or Amadou. Happy Fire Lighting!
